Ukrainian born artist Yuri Padal shares a selection of his well received abstract art.
Artist Yuri Padal was born in 1949 in Kiev and studied under the direction of Glushenko. In 1976, Padal studied in Rome at the Fresco school of art. He has had many shows between 2005 and 2008, including The Art Garden, Gallery Gachet and the Autumn Brook Gallery. Padal’s art has been bought by many collectors throughout Canada and the U.S.
Paul Gauguin said, “it’s not what you see in the art, it’s what the other people see.” That’s one of my directions when I create my compositions. I take inspiration from Jackson Pollock, Clyfford Still, and Jean Paul Riopelle. When I create my compositions, I don’t let my ego control my creativity. I try to connect to the universal energies of beauty, color, freedom, and positive balance. I use different tools to create new forms and techniques to communicate with people who will find my art interesting and spiritual. – Yuri
